Multi Grammy award-winning R&B singer Alicia Keys is the latest music sensation to sign on to perform in the Hunter Valley.
Keys will perform at the next series of ‘A Day on the Green’ concerts at Bimbadgen Estate on December 13 as part of her Australian tour. Special guest support artists will be chart-topper Jordin Sparks.
The concert will be the third of the 2008/2009 summer season following the John Mellencamp and Sheryl Crow concert in November.
With 30 million album sales, 11 Grammy Awards, four US number one albums and most recently being awarded the prestigious honour of recording the next James Bond theme with Jack White, Keys has set herself apart from her contemporaries. Selling almost 20 million singles, Keys has created instant classics with the likes of Fallin, A Woman’s Worth and Karma.
Keys special guest will be the esteemed Jordin Sparks, who will be playing her first live shows in Australia. Winner of American Idol in 2007, it took Sparks little time to establish herself as one of the stars of 2008, capturing a worldwide audience with her debut album and single Tattoo.
