Detectives have formed a strike force to investigate the suspicious death of a woman at Greta.
The 43-year-old woman was discovered by a family member lying on the ground in a shed at the rear of a house on Wyndham Street, Greta, just after 9.30am today.
Police and NSW Ambulance Paramedics attended the scene and a crime scene was secured and examined by specialist forensics officers.
A post mortem examination will be carried out in coming days to determine a cause of death.
Strike Force Wintervale has been formed by local and Homicide Squad detectives to investigate the woman’s death, which is considered suspicious.
