Maitland Grossmann High School’s mathematics faculty will create a video of ex-students’ memories of maths for their 125th anniversary celebrations - and they need your help.
The video will comprise several ex-students answering set questions about their time as a maths student, including their favourite maths teacher, the most memorable piece of advice a maths teacher gave them and their favourite maths topic.
Each interview will be played during the school’s Open Day on September 12 and head maths teacher Zoe Cox wants to see ex-students get involved.
“It’s something interesting that will complement our activities for our 125th anniversary and will give ex-students who attend the open day a chance to watch snippets of their peers’ memories of their time at the school,” Ms Cox said.
Anyone who is interested in being interviewed should ask a friend or relative to video them answering the set questions and then provide an electronic copy of the interview to the school’s front office marked “Attention Maths Faculty” and with the ex-student’s name, their maiden name and the years at the school.
