Sweetwater wins appeal against Huntlee New Town

07 Jul, 2011 04:47 PM
The Sweetwater Action Group has won its NSW Land and Environment Court appeal against the $1.5 billion Huntlee New Town project near Branxton.

LWP Property Group, developers behind the Huntlee New Town project, expressed disappointment at the decision handed down today by Justice Peter Biscoe.

Group managing director Danny Murphy said: "We will now regroup and assess all our options. We remain committed to this important regional project and take Justice Biscoe's decision and feedback on board."
