Despite the continuation of their slick delivery, Garbage don’t sound quite as futuristic as they used to.

The four-piece’s self-titled 1995 debut was ground-breaking in its fusion of pop, alternative rock, trip hop and electronica.

As a showcase for drummer and super-producer Butch Vig, who famously shaped
