The accident on John Renshaw drive this morning.
John Renshaw Drive remains blocked in both directions in Buchanan following a fatal two vehicle accident.
The incident occurred around 200 metres west of George Booth Drive.
Emergency services remain on-site with the NSW Police Crash Investigation Unit deployed to investigate the cause of the incident.
Due to Police investigations, John Renshaw Drive is expected to remain closed at this location for the next several hours.
As a result of this closure
Westbound traffic is being diverted via George Booth Drive. Eastbound traffic is being diverted at Kurri at Railway Street then onto Stanford Street, Mulbring Road, Leggetts Drive, White Bridge Road onto Richmond Vale Road and then returning to George Booth Drive.
These diversions are available for all vehicles.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use an alternative route.
