Maitland Mustangs Youth League forward Hannah Fox is part of the NSW Women’s team contesting the inaugural Under-18 Australian 3x3 Championships starting today.
The championships, behind held at the State Sports Centre in the Sydney Olympic Park complex, is being played in conjunction with the Australian Rollers and Gliders international wheelchair world challenge.
Fox is one of only two players from outside Sydney involved, with the competition to be played under FIBA 3x3 rules with teams split into two pools of four, playing three games in the preliminary round before a quarter final, semi-finals and play-off final.
Fox will be one of the Mustangs’ Youth League players taking on the University of Oklahoma when they visit Australia next month.
