Jude Bolton's premiership dream is still alive this year after receiving positive results from scans on his injured knee this morning.
The veteran faces two to three weeks on the sidelines but the scans have allayed fears he had suffered serious damage after hyperextending his left knee against Carlton yesterday.
"Good result with the scan - thanks for all the messages of support!" Bolton tweeted.
"Should only miss 2-3 weeks. Will help cheer the boys on vs Coll!"
That timeframe will allow Bolton to return in either rounds 22 or 23 but he will miss this Saturday night's blockbuster clash with Collingwood and the following match against the Western Bulldogs.
Bolton is currently on 297 matches and has the chance this year to become just the third player, after Adam Goodes and Michael O'Loughlin, in the club's history to reach the 300-game milestone.
