Detective Chief Inspector Peter Fox appeared in Maitland Local Court where he was named as the protected person in an apprehended violence order against former police officer Dale Woods.
Police sought the 12 month interim AVO on behalf of Chief Inspector Fox who sat in the back of the court for the five-minute mention of the matter on Thursday.
Woods consented to the mandatory orders not to assault, molest, harass, threaten or
otherwise interfere with Chief Inspector Fox or any person with whom he had a domestic relationship.
The former police officer has been ordered not to go within half a kilometre of Chief Inspector Fox’s home and is not to make contact unless through his legal representative.
The matter will return to court in August next year.
