He even has the awards to prove it.
Mr Masi received the Best Client Results award at the ActionCoach International Conference in Berlin, Germany last month.
The honour was based on the achievements of several Maitland businesses with which Mr Masi has worked with in the past 12 months.
These included Barbeques Galore Maitland, which was named the NSW Franchisee of the Year and Australian Franchisee of the Year for 2011-12, and the George Tavern Green Hills, which received the Best Liquor Retail Outlet in NSW and Overall Country Hotel of the Year honours at the 2012 Australian Hoteliers Awards for NSW.
As well as the awards, Mr Masi had clients who increased their overall transactions by more than 20 per cent, conversion rates by more than 50 per cent and increased profits by 1442.4 per cent over the past year.
Mr Masi was thrilled to win the award after a stellar year.
“I work with some of the best clients in the world,” he said.
“My clients work harder than any group of business owners I’ve been around but, more importantly, they work smarter.
“The kind of growth we have all experienced this year has made it one of the best times I’ve had as an action coach and I couldn’t be prouder to win this award for myself and for them.
“I wasn’t really expecting it and it was really great, but seeing our businesses win awards is an even better feeling.”
Mr Masi, who was a keynote speaker along with other business leaders at the Radisson Blu Hotel as part of the award night in Berlin, was full of praise for his clients and said the award was the result of their hard work.
“You can’t get the best results without having the best clients,” he said.
“They really are great people who want to get better and they are exceptionally proactive.
“By them working so hard to improve we were able to get some wonderful results together.”
After beginning his career in business coaching 10 years ago, Mr Masi made the move to Maitland in 2007 as principal of Yellow Executive Business Coaching at Morpeth.
