After repeated appearances in Newcastle District Court a teenager will stand trial in East Maitland District Court for dangerous driving occasioning death.
Rhys James McGrorey-Clark will return to Newcastle District Court in a fortnight where he will be arraigned.
McGrorey-Clark has pleaded not guilty to dangerous driving occasioning the death of his then 15-year-old girlfriend in August last year.
His Daewoo sedan crashed through a timber railing on the single-lane Clarence Town Bridge on the Williams River about 8.30pm.
He was 18 at the time.
