The devoted fans, who fell in love with the Boss’ music when they were teenagers, have already seen Springsteen in concert in Adelaide and Melbourne and will travel to Sydney tonight and Brisbane on February 26 to soak up more of that Born in the USA energy.
But they do not have tickets to Springsteen’s Pokolbin show this weekend.
“We try to plan holidays around his concerts so we can visit people we know,” Mr Geary said. “Springsteen always puts on a great show and I have been listening to his music since I was a teenager.”
Mr Geary has all of Springsteen’s early albums with the songs that bring back great memories.
“Trish is also a huge fan – it’s one of those things that’s hard to describe. We love his shows and his music.”
The Geary’s two children, Josh, 25 and Tahra, 30 will join their parents for tonight’s Sydney concert.
“They like Springsteen too because they didn’t have a choice. They heard his music all the time.”
