Capocci’s European tour is the biggest he has taken on and includes venues in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Tuscany, Sweden and Norway from May 23 until June 8.
He will tour with a bass player and drummer.
The shows follow Capocci’s signing to USA label Wild Records.
He has been writing songs for a new album called The Cobra and the new songs have been well received.
Capocci described this record as his most adventurous recording.
“It feels like we’ve embraced all our musical influences and the end result is a new sound. Our sound,” he said.
The label deal is reward for Capocci hard work and relentless determination, which has seen him recognised as one of Australia’s most respected rockabilly artists.
Capocci, 29, has a unique style and natural ability and has worked hard for more than a decade, travelling up and down highways and jet-setting around the world.
He spent his early years listening to and influenced by traditional roots music.
At 16, he became an influential member of several bands and developed his own style performing in hotels and clubs.
