A teenager has been charged after a stolen car crashed into a police car in Raymond Terrace earlier this month.

About 11.30pm, Sunday, July 13, police were patrolling Adelaide Street following reports of a stolen Holden Commodore had earlier crashed into a fence in Millers Forest.
Port Stephens local area command police responded to the incident and saw the Holden Commodore on William Bailey Street.
Police attempted to stop the vehicle in Alma Street and again in Geer Street, but then lost sight of the car.
The Holden Commodore attempted to turn from Carpenter Street onto Adelaide Street when it collided with another police car.
The two 16-year-old occupants of the Commodore were not injured.
The two male officers, a senior constable and constable were injured as a result of the collision and taken to John Hunter Hospital. The youths were arrested and taken to Raymond Terrace police station and were released pending further inquiries.
The 16-year-old boy who was allegedly the driver of the car was issued with a future court attendance notice for engaging in a police pursuit, not stopping when directed to, reckless driving, driving in a dangerous manner, negligent driving and never licensed.
