The Dungog Festival is set to bring some of Australia's finest musicians to its rural namesake with the announcement that legendary You Am I frontman Tim Rogers will perform a special solo performance at the Settlers Arms Hotel on Friday, August 29.

Indie-folk acts The Paper Kites, Husky and Meg Mac will pack out Dungog High School's hall on the Saturday night.
The Dungog Festival is billed as a cultural showcase of film, food, musical and the Dungog community.
The event will open with The Long Table Dinner, which will see over 200 people dine in the main street of Dungog, with a special dessert cooked by Hunter locals, My Kitchen Rules contestants and recent newly-weds Carly Saunders and Clarence Town-raised Tresne Middleton.
The Dungog Festival will run from August 28 to 31.
