Despite weather reports of a gloomy weekend, about 12,000 coffee and chocolate lovers from near and far gathered in Maitland for the annual caffeine-fuelled event.
And they were rewarded.
“We actually thought we may have been rained out but we’ve been extremely fortunate with the weather and we’ve had a wonderful couple of days,” event co-ordinator Adam Franks said.
This year the event was held in the Riverside Car Park while work progresses on The Levee project in central Maitland, and Mr Franks said patrons and stallholders alike were positive about the new location.
“People really liked the location, which was great to hear, and we also had a few new attractions which went off well,” Mr Franks said.
“People were certainly spoilt for choice this time around because we had so much to offer.”
