The Ashtonfield 16-year-old was picked in a 17-man squad after helping NSW to a silver medal at the national titles in Adelaide last week.
The Maitland Grossmann High School student also plays first grade cricket for Eastern Suburbs.
In other representative hockey news former Maitland junior now Northern Territory-based Daniel Sekulich has been named in the Australian Country team to tour Malaysia next year.
