A report will be prepared for the coroner after a 26-year-old woman died in a single-vehicle crash at Hexham.

The accident happened on the New England Highway near the Hexham Bridge about 2.30pm yesterday.
Police said the woman’s Nissan Pulsar crossed onto the wrong side of the road and hit a concrete barrier.
Emergency services arrived a short time later and the woman was removed from the wreckage, but died on arrival at John Hunter Hospital.
Officers from Central Hunter Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
