The Michelle Shambler trained three-year-old recorded his best time over 400 metres in his maiden run at Maitland on May 30 last year.
Since stopping the clock at 22.44 seconds Titanium Tim has broken 23 seconds on eight occasions at Maitland Greyhound Club meetings for three victories.
The Ellalong greyhound went around in 23.16s last week while his best recent display at Maitland was 22.87s on August 7.
Titanium Tim has the inside lane for the main race on the 10-event program with Colin Kneeshaw’s Diddy Split (22.74s) and Helen Hanson’s Eiffel In Love (22.79s) also set to feature in the mixed fourth-fifth grade contest.
Three heats of the Maitland Mercury maiden series will be held between races two and four on the card.
Bluestone Rose (race one, number three), Adamstown Girl (race two, number two), Gypsy Tyne (race five, number two), Jeteye Knight (race seven, number seven), Where’s Bri (race eight, number one) and China Gaites (race nine, number two) have been scratched.
Maitland Greyhound Club sponsorship and promotions manager Fred Robertson nominated Medusa Gold (race seven, number one) as his best bet of the day.
First race jumps at 3.32pm.
Maitland will also host a meeting tomorrow.
