The carnival, first held in 2005, attracted more than 3000 people over the weekend.
Event co-ordinator Diane Denton said the carnival had again been a huge success.
“It’s been very good, we started really early and we haven’t stopped,” she said.
“The dogs went really well and ran all day, we’ve had the helicopter going over non-stop, everyone has been pleased with the food.”
Mrs Denton said the Jack Russell race and the Dachshund dash had again been a hit.
“It was all fun and games with the dog races,” she said.
“Many of the little dogs didn’t know what they were doing at times, but it was still a lot of fun.”
The Vacy School Choir and dancers provided entertainment as did the John Ryall Band, Big Bam Boom drummers and Jumpin Dukebox.
The Vacy School of Arts Hall hosted a number of arts and crafts including spinners, weavers and patchwork quilts.
Previous year’s favourites such as camel and pony rides and helicopter joy flights were on again with a mechanical bucking bull added to the 2014 attractions.
The Vacy school grounds were also filled with children’s activities.
Youngsters made the most of face painting with Ruby the Clown and there was a jumping castle.
Many visitors enjoyed the market stalls, shopping for everything from from jewellery to fishing gear.
