About 3000 people from as far afield as the Central Coast took a sticky-beak at seven diverse gardens on the weekend.
Garden Ramble co-ordinator Lorraine Noonan said attendance had been on par with previous years.
“This year we tried to get different gardens that haven’t been in before,” Ms Noonan said.
“We’ve also had some gardens returning after a few years; it is nice to show change in gardens.
“We tried to get little gardens, historic gardens and bigger park gardens.”
This was the 31st year the Black and White Committee had hosted the fund-raiser for its patron body, Vision Australia.
“I think [the ramble] is quite unique in the Valley,” Ms Noonan said.
“I don’t know of any others.”
Dozens of people enjoyed morning tea at Sirocco – the garden of Black and White Committee president Ann Burns.
The 14-year-old garden with its mature trees, expansive lawns and magnificent views from Oakhampton Heights to Paterson Tops was a must-see for ramblers.
Last year’s Garden Ramble raised $28,000.
More than $1,000,000 has been raised for Vision Australia since the committee’s inception.
