Thornton library had a close encounter with about 20 young alien invaders building flying saucers and designing undiscovered planets last week.
Rutherford library continued its fascination with “scary stuff” after last week’s zombie rehearsal with a workshop on Thursday to create halloween decorations. Festivities included a goblin hunt, building a witch-mobile and scary stories.
The holiday fun continues today with Battle of the Brainiacs – a free quizzical event designed to test young minds at East Maitland Library from 11am to noon.
Tomorrow will belong to the young Whovians of Maitland with a free Doctor Who quiz and workshop running from 2pm until 3pm at Maitland City Library.
