Dimech clinched the crown courtesy of a 7-5 victory over Levick in the final fixture for Block A at the annual singles level-play tournament.
This result brought Dimech level with Levick on three overall wins following two days of competition but after a count back of individual points the Manning Valley player was four nett points clear of the Novocastrian.
The pair had started their head-to-head battle even on nett points with the trophy winner undecided until the final hoop.
In Block B it was Toronto’s Robert Knox one game clear of fellow clubman Kevin Page and Mount Sugarloaf’s Brenda Wild.
In Block C it was the superior nett position of Branxton’s Rod Dillon which got him across the line after a four-way tie with Wollongong’s Bernie McAlary, Forster’s Mary Greig and Toronto’s Shirley Page.
In Block D Jenny Baker made it a worthwhile trip from Port Macquarie by narrowly keeping at bay Taree’s Lyn Dimech and Macquarie City’s Carole Goodman.
In Block E it was a Mount Sugarloaf quinella with Glenda Yardly finishing ahead of Don Rankin.
And in Block F a four-way share of the overall lead was split on a count back with Toronto’s Pam Wienears beating to the prize Macquarie City’s Sandra Johnson, Maitland’s Jackie O’Neill and Taree’s Sheila Coates.
