But unlike CMC Rocks, which had a focus on mainstream country music, the inaugural three-day Campfire Festival is a more eclectic mix.
Country fans will have their appetite whet by the likes of Lee Kernaghan, Kasey Chambers, The McClymonts and Beccy Cole.
But headline acts like the John Butler Trio and Ash Grunwald will attract blues and roots fans.
Hope Estate has room for 5000 people to camp on site and promises an array of campfire-lit artisan markets, plus exhibitions and demonstrations during the day.
The Camper’s Bar will host songwriter sessions, guitar clinics, artist Q&A forums and jam sessions each day, as well as hosting late night entertainment for campers.
Ticket options range from general admission to deluxe “glamping” accommodation and VIP packages.
The full first artist announcement also includes Wendy Matthews, We Two Thieves, Greg Champion, Amber Lawrence, The Bob Corbett Band and Chelsea Basham.
There are more acts to be announced.
The Campfire Festival is one of an impressive list of shows heading to Hope Estate, including The Rolling Stones, Sting and Paul Simon and The Eagles.
“All the major promoters now view Hope Estate as a world class venue capable of hosting and delivering world-class shows,” Hope Estate owner Michael Hope said.
Campfire Festival is at Hope Estate from Friday, March 13 to Sunday, March 15, 2015.
Early bird tickets for the Campfire Festival are on sale today at 9am via Ticketek.
