With his HSC exam Information Processes and Technology behind him on Thursday, student Ryan Jackson said he found the pressure leading up to the event more stressful than the test itself.

But the Rutherford Technology High pupil said he believed the exam was easier than the trial exam held 10 weeks ago.
Ryan, 17, from Rutherford, was speaking shortly after finishing the exam, which involved designing a new computer system.
“Not knowing what is going to be on the paper is the most stressful part of it all,” he said.
“I found that more stressful than actually completing the exam paper.
“I have done information technology previously, designing websites, and I found this exam was about pretty much what I have been studying.”
From designing websites, Ryan’s focus will now be shifting to something dramatic – modern history dealing with the Russian leader Trotsky.
Student Jack Melon, 17, from Aberglasslyn, found the HSC exam “cruisy” – because he only had to sit for that one subject.
“I don’t have exams for my other subjects – English studies and businesses services,” he said.
“I also did a tourism course at TAFE which does not involve an exam.”
But unlike his colleague Ryan, Jack said he found yesterday’s exam on information technology harder than the trial held previously.
Jack said he enjoyed customer service, having worked at Woolworths in Rutherford for some time.
“I also like aviation, so I want to work in customer service for an airline company,” he said.
