The Central Coast golfer finished with eight birdies, including five straight between the second and sixth holes, in his tournament-winning round.
It was Kellehear’s first victory since the 2012 Richmond Pro-Am and he was five clear of his nearest rivals.
Tamworth’s Darren Berger and Toukley’s Mitch Brown finished one-under 71.
A total of 54 professionals took part in the competition, the second of its type at Maitland in as many years.
The Hunter’s Pro-Am circuit moves to Merewether today and Waratah on Thursday with similar numbers expected at each.
