The NSW Metropolitan and Newcastle trainer’s premiership holder will line up Marty Monkhouser and Mark Dennis at Albion Park on Saturday night.
Marty Monkhouser has drawn barrier 10 and Mark Dennis 13 in the $200,000 Queensland Pacing Championship over 2680 metres.
“Obviously it isn’t the best draw for my two but I’m not sure the barrier draw
was going to be too important for Marty Monkhouser unless he drew barrier one,” Tritton told the Harness Racing NSW website this week.
“Totally different story with Mark Dennis; he needed the front row draw to have his best chance of winning so he is going to need plenty of luck.”
The state’s first female NSW Metropolitan driver’s premiership winner Lauren Panella will steer Marty Monkhouser, while Pete McMullen will be on board Mark Dennis.
Tritton’s other star Suave Stuey Lombo will remain at home in the lead up to the Miracle Mile at Menangle on November 29 while Mach Beauty returned to his Hunter Valley stables on Monday.
Newcastle Harness Racing Club will host a meeting on Saturday night.
The industry’s state awards will also be held on Saturday night.
