Two men were injured when their vintage light aircraft crashed through a fence into a paddock 500 metres south of Luskintyre airfield about 1pm Friday.

Paramedics from Rutherfield treated the two for various injuries, which were not life-threatening.
The two were also treated by paramedics from Westpac Rescue Helicopter and flown to the John Hunter Hospital.
"Shortly after take-off around 1pm, the aircraft crahsed through a fence south of the airfield," a Westpac Helicopter spokesman said.
