Bear, who fronts Nahko and Medicine for the People, hit the headlines on Monday for his relationship with the Divergent actress.
Woodley and Bear were recently photographed getting up close and personal as they took in the sights at Waipio Valley in Hawaii.
It’s understood the pair have been dating for a while.
Woodley previously gushed about Nahko’s talents during a benefit event for her youth empowerment charity All It Takes in March, noting that he had “dramatically” changed her life.
Oregon-native Nahko, born a mix of Apache, Puerto Rican, and Filipino cultures and adopted into an American family, has played music since the age of six.
He has said his honest and pure music is designed to unify people of different cultures.
“I think our music promotes the bridging of all tribes,” Nahko says.
“The lyrics and the stories and our energy as a group break down people’s walls.
“You’ll find us in the most unique places on earth because it’s real, raw, and honest storytelling about what we’ve been through and what we believe in.
“And that’s why people connect with it. I think that’s the most important thing you can do with music.”
Nahko and Medicine for the People kicked off their tour of Australia in Melbourne on November 14 before heading to Newcastle’s Cambridge Hotel on Wednesday, November 26.
They are supported by Dustin Thomas and Trevor Hall.
