Police are seeking public help in relation to a Woodberry assault where a man was assaulted with a knife in a backyard and received a cut that required stitches.

A comfit image has been released of a man police believe may help with their inquiries.
About 6pm on Saturday, November 1, a 55-year-old man was out the back at a house on Kingstown Road when he noticed a man armed with a knife in the yard.
Police understand the man asked for drugs before he assaulted the man with the knife.
The armed man fled the scene and officers attached to Central Hunter Local Area Command were called.
The man police seek is between 21 and 25, of Caucasian appearance, about with pale skin, half of his left eyebrow shaved, and a black ‘button’ style earring in his right earlobe.
He was also seen with two tattoos – one on the left hand side of his neck featuring lettering and another featuring a large spider web on his right leg.
The man was wearing a grey hooded jacket and grey knee-length shorts.
