Suave Stuey Lombo and Easy On The Eye lead the charge in the $750,000 group 1 Miracle Mile, but 15 others from Tritton’s stables will go around at Sydney’s harness racing headquarters in pursuit of a collective $400,000 kitty across nine races.
Lombo Tascannini (race one, No.8) kick starts proceedings in the $25,000 listed opener followed by Pas Ultimate Delight (race two, No.4) in the $50,000 Group 2 Smoken Up Championship Final.
Tritton has a trio on the track in the third with Rathmore Lady (race three, No.3), Chance (race three, No.6) and Laterron (race three, No.10) trying for the $50,000 Group 2 Robin Dundee Stakes.
Then Whosgunagetit (race four, No.1) runs in the $50,000 Group 2 Beautide Championship Final.
There are five chances for Tritton across the fifth and sixth with Hear The Call (race five, No.7), Take Charge (race five, No.10) and Yayas Hot Spot (race five, No.12) contesting the $50,000 Group 2 Four Year Old Championship, with Marty Monkhouser (race six, No.7) and Mark Dennis (race six, No.12) vying for the $50,000 Group 2 Kevin Newman Cup title.
The main race, which goes at 9.40pm, has Easy On The eye starting from the inside lane and Suave Stuey Lombo out of barrier seven.
The ninth presents another Group 1 opportunity for Tritton with Si Capisco (race nine, No.5) in the Australian Trotters Final while Shipwreck (race eight, No.5) will run the $25,000 listed Carnival Of Miracles Stakes.
And in the final event of the night, the $50,000 Group 2 Three Year Old Championships, Tritton has a pair lining up from the first and second gates in Watch The Dream (race 10, No.1) and Glenisla (race 10, No.2).
First race jumps at 6.30pm.
Closer to home, there will be no racing in the Hunter this weekend, but Tritton and Lauren Panella combined twice for victory at Newcastle on Tuesday with Goodtime Stride and Timmy.
In other results from the midweek meeting, East Maitland trainer-driver Polly Downing saluted with Ball Boy and Gillieston Heights trainer-driver Peter Hedges had success with Sporty Belle.
