Mr Shoebridge instigated the parliamentary inquiry into the heavy rail cut at Wickham, the committee has promised to release the interim report before Christmas.
He also wants to make sure stakeholders have sufficient time to debate the findings.
“I think we have an obligation to deliver it [the interim report] as soon as possible, but we have to balance it with doing a thorough job,” he said.
“I think we have moved heaven and earth to get as much information on the public record as possible.”
Mr Shoebridge said a report release date would soon be determined.
“I have a very clear commitment and I understand it’s shared by the majority of the committee to deliver the interim report within the coming weeks and most certainly before Christmas.”
