It is a miracle no one was killed or injured when a semitrailer, fully laden with steel, ploughed through a brick fence and into a Rutherford home, police said.
Authorities said the 43-year-old driver may have suffered a medical episode that caused his semi to cross the New England Highway and into the family home during peak-hour traffic.
The truck left a Rutherford depot minutes before it went through red lights, crossed the highway smashed through the fence and into a home near South Street at 9.10am.
