Brady was pressed all the way by Pelaw Main's Rohan Tungate and reigning Australian Under-21 champion Max Fricke, with his brother Todd fourth.
Brady emerged with the lead after all four riders were almost abreast coming out of the first bend.
Tungate and Fricke had a battle royal for second and third, passing each other seven times while still managing to keep pressure on Brady.
They were only centimetres apart crossing the finish line with Tungate just holding sway.
The riders gave each other high-fives and performed celebratory monos down the straights in spontaneous recognition of the quality of racing.
Brady said it was a sensational race to be part of.
"Every time I looked behind me and there was a different rider there and they were getting closer," he said.
"I'm just pumped to win."
Brady continued his great run at Kurri Kurri where he has won the NSW and NSW under-21 solo titles this summer after a great UK season at the Somerset Rebels with Todd.
He has set his sights on the Australian under-21 tiles, at Kurri Kurri in January, and will be part of the action with Tungate and Fricke at the Jason Crump Invitational on Boxing Day.
They will be joined in the marquee event at Kurri Kurri by former world champion Chris Holder and Newcastle's Sam Masters and Jason Doyle, who both had great seasons in the UK.
It was a great night for another Cowra rider, with pocket rocket Matthew Gilmore winning the 125cc and 250cc junior support events.
Gilmore had to draw on his enormous talent to win the 250cc final after a legitimate nudge going into the first bend pushed him back to fourth. By the second lap he had managed to grab the lead and was never headed.
There was another thrilling battle for second, with Isaac Hawes making a late lunge at the end to finish ahead of Mitchell Cluff. Aden Clare was fourth.
It was a great result for Hawes who was making his debut in the 250cc category.
Earlier, Gilmore won the 125cc from Adam Murphy, in second, Christian Hojberg third and Harrison Ryan fourth.
