In that time, Ms Rees has won prizes worth about $500.
And now she has given them all away to Maitland Neighbourhood Centre to distribute to families in need at Christmas.
They include a digital camera and a trampoline.
“I began entering the raffles and started winning these prizes,” Ms Rees said yesterday.
“After winning the trampoline, I thought donating the prizes to families in need would be a good opportunity to help both struggling families and bring some joy to their children.
“I have won prizes valued at a total of around $500, including a bicycle.
“So many people struggle these days to provide gifts for families so I decided to give the gifts I won to Maitland Neighbourhood Centre to distribute to people,” Ms Rees said.
“If I can make a difference to even a small number of people at this time of year, it would be really great.
“I am committed to helping people where I can and since I seem to have a lucky streak recently, what better way is there to bring some cheer into homes?”
She said people at Maitland Neighbourhood Centre were in touch with families needing help and knew exactly where to send the gifts.
Her mother Naomi Rees, manager of Maitland Neighbourhood Centre, said they had 220 families on their list of people needing help over Christmas.
“So we are very grateful for these gifts, as we are for all the help we get from our sponsors and from people who make donations throughout the year,” Ms Rees said.
