Proposed changes to Maitland City Council’s Maitland Citywide Development Control Plan and Local Environment Plan are also on public exhibition until Friday.
The flood management study focuses on Hunter River floods rather than catchment or overland flooding.
It has led to the proposal for various changes to the city’s DCP and LEP.
The study and plans can be viewed at council’s administration building or at maitlandyoursay.com.au.
Public submissions must be in writing and can be emailed to yoursay@maitland.nsw.gov.au or posted to The General Manager PO Box 220, Maitland, NSW, 2320, quoting reference numbers 103/64 for the flood management plan, RZ13007 for the LEP and 103/140 for the DCP.
