Muswellbrook have been the more dominant force conceding only half-a-point in their victories over Stonebridge (7-0) and Scone (6.5-0.5).
Maitland have been forced to work harder for success against Kurri (4.5-2.5) and Branxton (4-3).
In other third round fixtures at Muswellbrook on Sunday it will be Branxton up against Kurri, Singleton meet Stonebridge and title holders The Vintage will attempt to keep their undefeated record intact against the winless Scone.

In other pennants news B-grade will also be played at Muswellbrook on Sunday, the C-grade season tees off at The Vintage while seniors are split between Dungog and Cypress Lakes.
