Eight-year-old driver Odgers and 32-year-old Falcon Crest teamed up 12 months ago and the Woodville pair will represent the Hunter region in the Inter Dominion Mini Trot grand final at Menangle on Sunday, February 29.
It will be the biggest event of Odgers’ young career in the gig, but Falcon Crest, recently brought out of retirement to race again, has won
Inter Dominion crowns previously with Odgers’ step-mother Megan McNamara on board.
Odgers says he loves racing Falcon Crest and reckons his beloved steed will go pretty well on the weekend.
Odgers will wear turquoise and purple silks in the Shetland division.
Their next assignment will be the NSW Mini Trot Championships in Gunning at Easter.
