Maitland captain-coach Luke Boyle said he expects his latest recruit Chris Meier to play more minutes from this weekend after debuting for the Mustangs in Sunday's thrilling comeback victory.

Meier, who has played in both Malta and Italy, returned to the court for the first time after a break from the sport as the Mustangs turned around an 18-point three-quarter time deficit to eventually clinch the game 77-75 on the Central Coast.
He played about 10 minutes in the third round encounter after the Mustangs had been defeated 83-68 by Penrith at home on Saturday night.
"He hasn't played in a while so he was a little unfit but he still went pretty well," Boyle said.
"He is another big guy and I think he will be pretty handy for us."
Meir will now be part of an almost full strength Mustangs line up against Hills Hornets at Maitland Federation Centre on Sunday.
Tip off is 3pm.
The Mustangs division one women begin their 2015 campaign on the weekend with a road trip to Coffs Harbour.
