The TAB C meeting set for Wednesday has been abandoned and both Greyhound Racing NSW and Sky Racing are attempting to reschedule some time in the next few weeks.
The TAB B meeting scheduled for Thursday has been transferred to Gosford with nominations closing at 9am on Monday.
The first race is scheduled for 3.40pm with kennelling from 2.10pm.
The main event will be a fifth grade 600 metre race with $3000 prizemoney to the winner.
Trials at Maitland have also been cancelled until further notice with a special session to be held on Tuesday, May 5, pending the outcome of track work.
Greyhound Racing NSW is working to have the race surface cleaned and reinstated as soon as possible and is currently liaising with contractors regarding an appropriate schedule.
However, the Maitland venue still has a significant amount of water around key infrastructure, which cannot be assessed for full damage until water levels recede.
Changes to other forthcoming meetings may also need to be made.
Further inquiries can be made to Greyhound Racing NSW operations manager Ellen Harris on 0403 802 022.
