The 68 students will remain in their class groups with their teachers, and classes have returned to normal, albeit in a different location.
“The school is thankful to Largs Public School staff and students for their warm welcome and for providing access to classrooms and facilities,” a Department of Education spokesperson said.
It is expected Iona students will return to their school for classes within the next couple of weeks.
