The free app has been designed to make it easier for wine and food lovers to negotiate their way around the calendar of events from June 1 until June 30.

The app puts everything taking place throughout the month in the palm of your hands.

“Wine country is an awesome place that can be a little tricky to negotiate, especially for first time visitors,” app creator Ask Roz licensee Geoff Pyne said. “The HVWFM app lists all the events taking place and provides directions to venues, enables direct phone and social media contact with them and direct bookings in most cases.”

Also included is a link to Hunter Valley Wine and Tourism for extra information.

“We have provided a button that instantly switches the user to our own native app Ask Roz (askroz.com.au) which provides a comprehensive interactive guide to all the great things to see and do in the region.

“The HVWFM app enables one click searching for events rather than time consuming, cumbersome search engine alternatives.

“The app combines all information available from several sources, complementing and linking to existing businesses online content, placing it all in one mobile device.”

The HVWFM app is an optimised web app so it can be run on any Apple, Android or Windows mobile phone.
