The Kurri Kurri rider tops the table in the 2015 Heffernan Motorsports Winter Challenge following rounds of the Challenge in South Australia, Victoria and NSW.
Campton will defend that lead on his home track on Saturday in round 6 of the prestigious event.
Campton is making every effort to keep his profile high after the disappointment of not being able to renew a British League contract.
Not only does he lead in this Challenge, but he is also at the top of the table in the Kurri Kurri Speedway Club Championship.
But the quality challenges come from far and wide for him this Saturday.
Riders from Townsville, Queensland and Perth, Western Australia are making the trip to Kurri Kurri to press their claims.
Victorian rider Ty Proctor is another of the Australian riders who were unable to renew contracts in the UK for 2015.
Like Campton, he is making the most of the Australian winter and despite recently suffering a bad back injury, he seems certain to make his presence felt.
Daniel Winchester from Perth has been competing in the Winter Challenge.
He has fully recovered from a heavy fall during a round of the event in Victoria and will be making his debut on the Kurri Kurri Speedway.
Racing starts at 11am with the junior events for the Winter Challenge followed by the senior events at 12.30pm.
