A Weston man pleaded guilty to firearms offences in Maitland Local Court on Monday.

Brendon Longhurst, 32, was arrested by police on Sunday at a home in Third Street, Weston.
A witness called police after seeing the man in his yard with a gun of some kind.
Documents tendered to the court stated that police arrived at the scene and saw a man sitting with an air rifle on his lap.
The man eventually moved to the garage where police said they saw him place the rifle under a lounge cushion.
At 3.20pm, Longhurst exited the garage and police moved in to arrest him.
After a search of his house police found and seized two air rifles and ammunition.
According to a police statement, Longhurst said he was using the air rifles to shoot mynah birds.
He was taken to Maitland police station where he was charged and refused bail.
Longhurst received an 18-month good-behaviour bond for the charge of unauthorised possession of a firearm.
He received a 12-month bond for not keeping firearms safely and was fined $200 for the possession of ammunition without holding a licence or a permit.
