Maitland Netball Association will hold a double header this Saturday and Sunday, with round 11 followed by the rescheduled second round match the next day, leaving Queens Arms with plenty of work ahead.
The East Maitland side has accounted for Flashbacks twice, George Tavern and LJ Hooker in the last month, but the fourth-placed team now meets second and third on back-to-back days.
Queens Arms (24) will be up against Altitude (27) and George Tavern (28).
Favourable results could see them jump as high as second, while a pair of losses could see them slip back as low as sixth.
Family Hotel (22) and LJ Hooker (21) go head-to-head for fifth on Sunday after clashing with undefeated leaders Hills Solicitors (36) and winless Flashbacks (15) respectively on Saturday.
Hills and Altitude feature in the other Sunday game.
Also down at Maitland netball courts on the weekend, clubs have banded together to support Raworth woman Tahila Smith.
Specially made caps and stubby holders will be on sale as a fundraiser for 21-year-old Smith, who requires $100,000 for overseas treatment of the debilitating Lyme disease.
In other netball news, the Australian team will arrive in Newcastle on Friday for a training camp as the Diamonds finalise their preparations for the World Cup in Sydney, which starts next week.
