A friend organised to collect Ms McBride at a fast food outlet in the town, but she never arrived.
Police were alerted of her disappearance when she failed to return to her Belmont home and couldn’t be located or contacted.
Ms McBride, who is a mother of two children, has not been heard from since.
In June this year her parents Steve McBride and Lorraine Williams made a public plea to Hunter residents for help to find their daughter.
She is described as being of Aboriginal / Torres Strait Islander appearance, 165cm to 175cm tall, with a thin build, brown hair and brown eyes.
