There were 27 teams contesting three divisions at the Hunter regional finals of the annual competition, with three advancing to state finals at Netball Central later this year.
A local derby in the year 7-8 boys’ decider was one of the highlights, with St Joseph’s, Lochinvar, overcoming St Peter’s, Maitland.
In the year 7-8 girls’ equivalent. St Pius, Adamstown, downed Hunter Sports High.
In the primary year 5-6 category Valentine proved too strong for Bateau Bay.
A state-high 170 teams participated in four gala days across the Hunter region last month.
