The creator of Lifestyle Cleaning Services will find out if she’s a finalist in the AusMumpreneur awards on Monday.
“I started this from scratch four years ago and we now employ 35 staff,” Mrs Bartlett said.
“I did a few jobs and worked out that customer service is my strength.”
The awards celebrate the achievements of mothers in the AusMumpreneur network which has more than 500 members nationwide.
There are categories for retail and service businesses, customer service, best influencer, handmade products and for making a difference.
Mrs Bartlett’s business is based at Beresfield and has picked up lucrative work in office cleaning and builder’s-cleans to make new homes ready for families.
Tanya Winfield is another Maitland mum in the contest with her Elgin Street business Additive Free Pantry.
“I came up with the idea of a shopping guide,” she said.
“Starting a business was something I never intended I just wanted to help people and its just evolved from there.”
The business sells booklets with extensive lists on what foods are safe for children and hosts seminars.
