They had yet to record a win and were sitting at the bottom of the Maitland A-grade netball ladder.
But a dramatic turnaround in form, including six wins on the way home, and the East Maitland side are now within sight of a premiership crown.
Queens Arms will take on Altitude in the minor semi-final at Maitland Park on Saturday after finishing the season in a share of third position (38 points).
But despite their recent hot streak, Queens Arms have been unable to beat Altitude this season.
The Branxton team has triumphed twice and comfortably on both occasions – 41-28 in round four and 47-24 in round 11.

The match starts at 1pm.
Next Saturday (September 5) five-time minor premiers and defending champions Hills Solicitors tackle second-placed George Tavern in the major semi-final.
