Peter Urquhart, Matthew Brown, Damien Schweinberger and Brendan Crouch nursed niggling injuries ahead of this weekend’s Hunter Coast Premier Hockey League minor semi-final against Norths.
Matt Hooson scored a double for the Rams, while Clayton Rix and regular goalkeeper Brad Paterson, who was playing in the field, also found the back of the net.
Maitland finished the season in third place and now have a do-or-die encounter against Norths.
